Florida’s longest running music festival is back ! Symphony of the Americas, a Broward County designated Major Cultural Institution, presents its 26th Anniversary Summerfest, under the direction of Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese, featuring soloists from Switzerland, Italy, and Mexico, and musicians of acclaimed orchestras throughout Europe including Gewandhaus Orchester of Germany, Mission Chamber Orchestra of Rome, Orchestra Symphonique du Mont Blanc, Europe’s Music for and more, representing over 10 different countries joined in cultural exchange by principal musicians of Symphony of the Americas.
Classical and popular music for strings includes Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Moncayo, Ravel’s Bolero and more. Piazzolla tangos, and a commissioned work by Italian composer Lorenzo Turchi-Floris. Soloists include acclaimed Swiss guitarist, Alessio Nebiolo, as well as David Pedraza of Mexico, and Valentin Mansurov of Russia.
