Our Programs

luisberrosBorn from a Cultural Arts Master Plan, The Pompano Beach Cultural Center is poised to become a cultural icon. This jewel, programmed and managed by Cultural Arts Creatives, is committed to the continued growth and development of artists and cultural groups.  Creative minds will be given the space and freedom in which to explore their methodologies, push the boundaries, share ideas and skills, consider new ways of making art, spark critical dialogue and be inspired and encouraged by internationally acclaimed innovators and like-minded peers.

The Creative Alliance Program provides a group of creative minds, who will serve as the Pompano Beach Cultural Center’s (PBCC) artistic collective, with assistance and priority bookings. A panel of experts in the various artistic disciplines will select an artistic collective of five to 12 members. Our goal is for patrons to experience the finest regional and international talent and for us to assist our resident companies with marketing, development, and the use of latest technology in the creation and presentation of the best regional work.

The Creative Energy Program is a series of community-based collaborate outreach programs where artists and arts organizations partner to provide programming in undeserved neighborhoods to enhance the quality of life for our residents. The in-depth programming will connect artists to residents, students and local audiences in various creative and intellectually stimulating outreach programs. The programs will focus on:

  • Art Classes for children, adults and seniors
  • Summer Art Camp
  • Digital Media Workshops
  • Mentor Programs for the future generations of visual and performing artists

The creative expression program is an artist-focused program incorporating lectures, workshops as well as business development instruction, designed to assist artists of all disciplines by cultivating and advancing their business skills as well as their artistic talent. The program will focus on some of the following areas:

  • Professional Development
  • Marketing
  • Strategic Planning
  • Budgeting
  • Legal
